Pop-up food event announcement with booking details

Explain what the pop-up offers, where and when it happens, and how a place or order becomes confirmed. Joining an update list should never sound like booking the event.

Describe the format before inviting attendance

A pop-up can be a seated dinner, takeaway collection, tasting, or walk-up service. Name the format and the action customers need to take. Otherwise an interested subscriber may arrive expecting a seat at an event that sells takeaway only.

Confirm the host venue, entry arrangements, menu, and capacity process before announcing. If dietary questions need review before booking, provide the real contact route. Existing bookings and payment details belong in private confirmation messages.

Before you send

  1. Confirm the venue, full date, service window, and event format.
  2. Explain ticket, reservation, preorder, or walk-up arrangements.
  3. Verify what the price includes through the booking page.
  4. Test the booking link and state how confirmation is received.

Message examples to adapt

These are original examples. Replace bracketed details and check every promise before using them.

Booked pop-up dinner

Subject: [Business] pop-up dinner at [venue], [date]

Join our [format] at [venue and address] on [date], starting [time]. Reserve through [booking link]; places are confirmed by [process]. The menu, price inclusions, and booking terms are there. Questions before booking: [contact]. Subscribing to updates does not reserve a place.

Walk-up food pop-up

Subject: [Business] food pop-up on [date]

We will serve [menu scope] at [venue, address] during [window] on [date]. This is [walk-up format], with [verified access requirements]. Stock is available while it lasts; [reservation policy]. Current menu and status: [link].

Use the booking process for attendees

Once customers book, send arrival instructions and changes through the attendee process. A general event-interest topic cannot prove who reserved or paid.

If the format or venue changes, make the correction prominent and confirm existing attendees' options privately. Keep the public booking page aligned with the announcement.

Common questions

Can KeepMPosted sell tickets?

No. It announces the event and links to your existing reservation or ticket process.

Should everyone on the list get arrival instructions?

A general notice can share public details, but attendee-specific information should go through confirmed booking records.

Put this into practice
