Farm harvest availability updates customers can act on

Publish harvest availability when you can confirm what is ready and how customers can buy it. Separate expected harvests from available stock, and give the sale date, location, and ordering route.

Announce the harvest you can fulfill

A promising crop in the field is not the same as packed stock ready for sale. Check harvested quantity, grading, packaging, and the collection plan before giving availability details. If weather makes the harvest uncertain, label the expectation and commit to a later confirmation.

Customers may buy by unit, weight, box, or order minimum. State the format and link to current prices and stock. Avoid a broad ‘everything is ready’ announcement when only a few crops are available.

Before you send

  1. Confirm which crops are harvested and ready for the stated sale.
  2. Check sale units, order limits, and the current price route.
  3. Give sale date, location, collection window, and reservation rules.
  4. Update availability when the harvest allocation fills.

Message examples to adapt

These are original examples. Replace bracketed details and check every promise before using them.

Harvest ready to order

Subject: [Farm] [crop] available for [date] pickup

Our [crop] harvest is ready. Order [unit / box format] at [link] for collection [date, window, location]. Availability and prices are shown there; [order limit]. Orders are confirmed through [process]. Other crops remain [relevant status].

Harvest timing not confirmed

Subject: [Farm] [crop] harvest timing update

We expect [crop] around [estimated period], but it is not available to order yet. We will confirm the harvest and sale plan by [date]. Watch our harvest updates for the actual ordering route and collection details. Please do not travel for it before that confirmation.

Keep the sale route current

Update stock where customers place orders. A message with a frozen quantity can become inaccurate quickly. If sold out, close the affected route and explain whether another harvest is confirmed or still uncertain.

Keep crop information relevant to buying and collection. Claims about storage, dietary benefits, or cultivation should come from verified farm information rather than being added to make the announcement sound richer.

Common questions

Should I announce every small harvest?

Group crops when they share the same sale plan. Use a separate notice when timing or the customer action genuinely differs.

Can subscribers request a particular crop automatically?

They can choose the message types you offer. KeepMPosted does not monitor individual crop requests or trigger inventory alerts.

Put this into practice

Offer a harvest-availability topic for customers who want confirmed crop and ordering announcements.

KeepMPosted collects subscribers through a QR signup page and sends updates by email or Telegram using prepaid credits. Customers can choose the message types you offer. You write and send each update; SMS and scheduled sending are not available.
