Food truck location announcement wording
Give the full date, serving window, precise location, and public-access conditions. Separate a venue's event hours from the time your truck actually serves food.
Describe the truck's service, not just the event
An event might run all day while your truck serves only at lunch. State your own window and last-order cutoff. Include a recognizable landmark or entry point rather than relying only on a venue name.
Check permissions and public access before inviting customers. Some pitches are inside ticketed events or private sites. Explain entry requirements and link to the organizer's current information without implying admission is included with a food purchase.
Before you send
- Confirm the pitch, date, serving window, and last-order time.
- Check whether the site is public, ticketed, or restricted.
- Give a written address and truck landmark as well as a map link.
- State walk-up or preorder arrangements and where live availability appears.
Message examples to adapt
These are original examples. Replace bracketed details and check every promise before using them.
Make a move visibly replace the old pitch
If the truck moves, name the original and replacement sites in a correction. Update the public schedule and any preorder collection directions too. Do not leave an old maps link as the most visible destination.
After the serving window ends, keep the date on the announcement. New customers should not infer that a temporary pitch is your daily location.
Common questions
Can I say ‘here until sold out’?
If that is the real plan, state it and keep availability updated. Also give a latest finish time so customers can plan.
Does KeepMPosted show the truck's live location?
No. You publish confirmed location announcements; the product does not track vehicle position.
